Astronauts who haven't flown yet30 Nov 2008 04:41 GMT28
I've been pondering the thought lately about what the infighting must be
like for the astronauts who haven't gotten a ride to space. I would guess
that it must be really intense and for those who haven't gone and who are
older the thought that they'd have to wait a minimum of 6 ...
Cost of astronauts' threads?27 Nov 2008 08:27 GMT4
NASA tv has been showing the fasinating pictures of the astronauts at work
aboard the ISS. They appear to be well tailored for the occassion. But, I
ask why so much clothing? Is it necessary to maintain a cool ambient air
temperature for technical reasons, or could the temperature ...
Water-from-urine Concept, Difficult to Swallow?25 Nov 2008 22:08 GMT6
How come I get the funny feeling that this new fluid ioniser/distiller
will, mysteriously, prove impossible to "repair" in the immediate
future?
Such a device will doubtless prove invaluable during transits to Mars

NASA TV22 Nov 2008 20:04 GMT4
Is anyone else having troubles with NASA TV. I really enjoy watching the pre
flight stuff before a launch but I cannot get it to work this time.
It loads but does not play. Are there any alternatives?
Thanks.

How far away can one see the night launch of a shuttle given best case

Parking pass for STS-126?11 Nov 2008 23:04 GMT3
I purchased launch tix for STS-126 but they do not come with a parking pass.
I just called KSC and they do not sell parking passes and will not allow you
to enter without one.  Help! :)  Is it possible to park outside the gate and
bum a lift in?  Will I get arrested for doing ...

hybrid assembly line and addressed more than 300 employees about the
Floating in space08 Nov 2008 11:57 GMT5
My question is concerning what we see in movies and reality. I see a
bunch of movies that when  space shuttle going straight up, when it
reaches the outer sphere, the astronauts seems to be floating.
is this true in real life? do they float in the shuttle in the free
