Nobody seems to have solved the problem of getting heavy stuff back after the Shuttle retires. OK, I've heard all sorts of schemes... Inflatable heat shields and parachutes. Modified atv/htvs

Are new modules added to the ISS permanently hooked, ie bolts, etc, after docking collars are joined? Also, when the ISS is deorbited, will the modules be seperated before reentry to ensure better destruction.

To me this system seems to always be having problems. What exactly is the issue with this system. On paper, so to speak, an evaporation cooler is just plumbing and hardly hi tech! Brian
