Just idly listening to the This week at Nasa soundbytes, and since when did gyros control the height of the station? Attitude is surely the word they were searching for! Brian

| Question about authority | 19 Aug 2007 17:03 GMT | 11 |
On a commercial airplane, the captain in the aircraft has final word and authority. He may end up losing his job afterwards, but while on the aircraft, he can decide the aircraft is not fit to fly, and when in the air, he can make just about any decision he wants when it comes to ...

| Crew not happy? | 17 Aug 2007 22:37 GMT | 6 |
Did I detect some subtle feeling of animosity toward some things mission control said yesterday, or are they just a bit fed up with all the pr stuff they are finding themselves doing? I tend to think that they want to do this repair, and feel that for the sake

| Teacher in Space... | 17 Aug 2007 16:04 GMT | 10 |
Ya know, I know there are all kinds of scheduling issues with the shuttle and whatnot, but isn't kind of dumb sending a teacher into space when most kids in the US haven't even started classes yet? I mean, the whole impact of what happened before the launch, the

At 01:04 PM 8/10/2005, I sent e-mail to Dr. Richard Gilbrec: (NASA): Shuttle piggybacking on an external foam insulated tank is conceptually wrong, since foam always have tendency to peels during lift-off. How I see, it is because during lift-off tank violently
