Edwards and Shuttle landing30 Jun 2007 21:20 GMT8
Will the fact that Atlantis landed at Edwards have any impact on the
scheduling of upcoming flights ?
From the time Atlantis arrives back at KSC, how much time does it
really take to process it to be ready to go to the VAB ? Is the
resid. hypergolics29 Jun 2007 00:10 GMT13
I was watching a repeat of the post landing briefing and Mike Linebaugh was
talking about purging residual hypergolics from the orbiter after landing...

of the pumps, pipes? whatever...  wouldnt they ...

Boom-Oom!  The Orbiter Is Here26 Jun 2007 00:14 GMT7
The Orbiter has just boomed my house.  NASA has a nice HUD camera
downlink to watch, too.
Gear down, all good.
Touchdown.
Space Station Orbits 3/8 inch Above Globe24 Jun 2007 22:02 GMT4
Take a look at a 12 inch globe of the Earth as sold by Walmart.  Now note
the scale, 1 inch = 660 miles.  The ISS orbits 225 miles or so above sea
level.  This works out to about 1/3 inch or roughly 3/8 inch above this 12
inch globe.
P6 relocation24 Jun 2007 07:34 GMT5
Why is the P6 relocation a shuttle task and is not performed by the ISS

Nasa tv on the web falls over again then!23 Jun 2007 22:17 GMT10
First the real feed got worse and worse, then died completely.
Then the windows got very low bandwidth,. I ended up on the windows media
sounds like a telephone audio only feed.
It makes me wonder if any kind of web TV system is going to be viable.
Some questions from today's landing.23 Jun 2007 09:45 GMT2
I watched the landing today on the Nasa web video feed.  Two questions came
to mind.
Houston would often acknowledge instruction readbacks with "That's a good
copy", or "That's a good readback".  Standard aviation talk would be

Re-entry video22 Jun 2007 01:04 GMT4
Has NASA ever released any video (through the shuttle's windows) from the
de-orbit procedure to touch down?
Would be good to see.
STS-118 Endeavour21 Jun 2007 08:18 GMT1
I can't find a whole lot of processing information for this flight.  When
does roll out occur?

Is 2010 shuttle end written in stone?20 Jun 2007 14:40 GMT16
I know the shuttle program is scheduled to end in 2010. Is this date
flexible at all? For example, if further delays cause the space station
construction to slip, could the shuttle program be extended for another
year or is there some absolute reason it needs to stop in 2010?
