I was wondering what was the legal implications of owning a flown tile from the shuttle? Not one of the gel packaged ones from the KSC store but a flown scrapped one? I know columbia and Challenger are out but there seems to be a few of them out and about for sale.

After this past weekend's damage to the external fuel tank due to hailstorm, I was wondering why the shuttle sits out on the launch pad for so long before launch?

Anybody have the recent status of STS-117? Can the tank be repaired? Can NASA still fly in late April? Any damage to the leading edge of the wings? I just checked www.nasa.gov, but didn't see much information. Danny Deger

With Atlantis now a sick puppy, are there any possibility that Endeavour would be given STS117 and Atlantis retasked to 118 ? This would give them more time to fix Atlantis and its tank, without delaying ISS assembly so much.
