Mental Health of Astronauts?29 Mar 2007 18:51 GMT2
I noted today in the news group of this hierarchy that  the medical review
panel has been formed, however I think that a lot of the problems Astronauts
have is very similar to many other people who are goal orientated, be they
sports or whatever.

food gets digested. Are there any problems?I mean obviously once in the
intestines its all  OK, but when its floating around in the stomach, It must
be a bit like any liquid or solid, ie, um floating and ...
Lisa Nowak, the "Astronut"24 Mar 2007 12:13 GMT2
Did Keith Olbermann (Countdown with Keith Olbermann, MSNBC) coin this
clever moniker?
The Shuttle is a wimp23 Mar 2007 23:37 GMT8
I find it very hard to believe that the shuttle and/or external tank can be
damaged by HAIL.  The stress and heat the shuttle/external tank go through
and the violence involved during lift off and HAIL damages it.
Come on. if the external tank made from paper mache?

New Sputnik Documentary20 Mar 2007 20:15 GMT18
As I'm sure many of you know, October 4, 2007 will mark the 50th
anniversary of the launch of Sputnik, the first man-made object ever
to leave the atmosphere and successfully orbit the earth. Throughout
the world, events are being planned to celebrate the "Sputnik Year,"
Future of Orion??19 Mar 2007 04:48 GMT57
What is your opinion of the future of Orion -- especially in light of the
recent budget downfalls?
My opinion is Orion will fly only because the Russians and the Chinese both
have a manned program.  If it wasn't for this, we would stop ours.

Thank you in advance for your time. I found a neat project to do with
my 14 year old son, but would like to know the science behind it so it
will be educational.

Status of shuttle and its overall schedule ?18 Mar 2007 16:55 GMT3
Does anyone have a scoop on the amount of damage to Atlantis and its tank due to
that hail storm ?
A spaceflight.nasa.gov statement made on the 3rd day of the 16th month mentions
that inspections are continuing and makes no mention of what techniques will be
Lisa Nowak still on NASA TV?18 Mar 2007 08:38 GMT4
NASA TV is mostly endless loops of video replays of shuttle flights and
space station boredom.  What I want to know is whether or not Lisa will be
filtered out or stay in these broadcasts for history's sake?  As was
mentioned by a previous poster, the old Soviet Union would airbrush ...
