Atmosphere temperature warming and orbits30 Jan 2007 17:30 GMT3
How much are LEO orbits affected by global temperature changes ?
I,.E. if global temperatures rise by 1 degree, will the atmosphere expand
sufficiently to change drag for orbits such as the ISS ?  Or would such
changes be absolutely trivial in terms of air density at LEO orbits ?
Steerable Parachute Final Descent Revisited27 Jan 2007 10:36 GMT4
Is it feasible to utilize a winged parachute to pinpoint land a reentry
capsule-type space vehicle?  The idea is to make a navigated landing at the
KSC instead of a splashdown out in the ocean.
It seems to me with GPS final guidance and automatic robotic control of a

STS-117 scheduling24 Jan 2007 00:49 GMT7
Since I'm headed to Jacksonville in Mar to visit my relatives, I
thought I'd try to see STS-117 launch as well.  What is the earliest
date that the launch date can be reasonably considered to be cast in a
substance firm enough to reasonably plan around?
Chinese test21 Jan 2007 19:20 GMT3
This event seems to be a huge  miscalculation on their part. Surely someone
in their government must have realised that this is dangerous to their
reputation and hence their image in the world?
I mean, if anyone can prove it was debris from this which damages any

This is a view of a Shuttle launch I don't recall ever seeing before.

It looks to be due south and about the same elevation as the pad,
which is higher than its surroundings. Where the heck was this ...

international partners (vehicles, equipment, crews, technicians,
engineers, managers and administrators), with five planned iss

Sounds like Murphy's Law applied was applied to the genesis mission.

I'm being told these are photos from the ISS of a shuttle launch.
Somehow I'm a bit skeptical.  Can anyone provide some thought?
Here's a link I created.  Should work.
