| spares | 12 Jul 2006 02:50 GMT | 1 |
You know, looking at this latest Shuttle mission, you soon become aware on hw much of what goes to the station is spares and replacement units etc. I can see that its just possible for a colony on the moon to get resupplied if something vital fails, but there would be no chance ...

Is the RCC taken from OV-101's wings ever going to be reattached, or has the Smithsonian decided its role in the Columbia investigation is a permanent part of the exhibit?

| Why no stars in NASA photos and videos? | 09 Jul 2006 16:58 GMT | 13 |

| white smoke/trail | 08 Jul 2006 22:50 GMT | 3 |
Saw a footage of liftoff last July 4th. When the boosters separated from external tank, did the shuttle's engine take over or had it been running since launch? There is no smoke/trail coming from the shuttle's engine, unlike the boosters. Why is there no smoke?
