How do they watch out for this problem on spacecraft of this age? I'd think there might be problems in high stress areas by now. Brian

| What's up with Endeavour? | 21 Jul 2006 10:06 GMT | 5 |
I see they are going to try and get Discovery ready for a rescue shuttle for Atlantis' flight in August, then fly again in December. So what's Endeavour doing these days? Wouldn't it be easier to have Endeavour play rescue shuttle for Atlantis?

| Fuel source for shuttle? | 20 Jul 2006 19:09 GMT | 8 |
Where does NASA get the huge amount of liquiefied oxygen and especially the even colder liquified hydrogen for the shuttle? Is it produced on site at Cape Canaveral? Or shipped in via rail car etc by some contractor like Air Products?

| APU noises | 20 Jul 2006 18:24 GMT | 6 |
This is really just a comment. When Discovery landed, the APUs were still running and they sounded very like some older car windscreenwiper motors, only louder of course. Also there was an accompanying sound that reminded me of a hedgehog

Are any of the STS-121 crew assigned to future shuttle missions? How can we find out when they are assigned missions in the future? Thanks! Mark Lopa

| Best places to watch launch online? | 20 Jul 2006 06:32 GMT | 4 |
NASA TV will no doubt be overloaded, so where are the best places to view the launch online? Thanks

| Are the comms to the shuttle actually digital or analog? | 20 Jul 2006 05:40 GMT | 2 |
Because they sure seem scratchy? Is this just added for effect? Why don't they go digital? I am guessing because the voice coms are some sort of seperate system that would be most robust FM on set frequency? It does seem kind of stupid though, especially after listening to some ...

| Is Shuttle back in business as usual ? | 20 Jul 2006 03:48 GMT | 1 |
With this succesful recent flight, are shuttle operations now returning to normal ? Are there still daylight launch restrictions ? Or is there still one more flight to go through before that restriction is lifted ?

| Viewing a landing | 19 Jul 2006 21:10 GMT | 2 |
I noticed a bunch of school kids on the TV this weekend that were able to watch the landing of Discovery from an erected viewing platform pretty close to the runway...anyone know if there are tickets for these?

| When do crews disband? | 19 Jul 2006 09:13 GMT | 2 |
When does a shuttle crew look at each other together for the last time and then go their separate ways? It must be kind of sad, when they have spent so much time training--especially these pre-Columbia crews--and flown a mission together to finally wrap it up and move on. Something

| APU Leak | 19 Jul 2006 01:40 GMT | 1 |
I don't see any reference as to if they determined if the APU leak was N2 or Hydrazine. Anyone got any information? Thanks David

| SRB cameras. | 19 Jul 2006 01:39 GMT | 3 |
I note that there seems to be no sound on the new srb camera videos this time. I enjoyed all the clanking and banging on the 114 video. Not being able to see these things now is a real annoyance. Brian

| Discovery Landing - Charred Sides? | 18 Jul 2006 21:12 GMT | 10 |
I just watched the video of the landing, and i noticed that the sides looked a lot more charred than normal. After quickly looking on NASA's site for previous landing images I found one from STS112, the comparison is remarkable. Is this a big deal? Has this been seen before?
