What is / was the about mode / contingency plan like, if one SRB ignited
OK but the other one failed to ignite?

Once again the "myth" that the photo linked from
http://www.shoutwire.com/comments/2735/Rare_photo_of_Space_Shuttle_Sonic_Boom
shows the shuttle at the moment of a "sonic boom".
The photo itself is cool and Mary can explain why that has nothing

Does anybody know an absolutely confident figure for
SRB sea level thrust, both max and average?
I've checked many references, which give varying numbers.
Often it's 3.3 million lbs per SRB, but sometimes it's 2.65 million lbs,

Mainly out of curiosity, I was trying to put together some statistics (per
Orbiter) with the shuttles...
After every touchdown, you always hear how many million miles was flown
during that particular mission.
