ALT Flights and GPC ...31 Dec 2005 15:56 GMT19
I recall reading somewhere about a GPC fault on the first ALT flight.

turned up nothing, perhaps we are old and have bad memories?  Or the
correct report is sitting nearby hiding in plain sight?

There is the possibility of life on Mars.  Should we send a SSTP

reception awaits?

Why Atlantis ?19 Dec 2005 01:01 GMT8
In another thead, there is the rumour that NASA would retire Atlantis
and keep the fleet at 2.
Lets assume that the government confirms the retirement of one shuttle.
Are there technical reasons to select Atlantis as the one to retire ?

Any special questions need asking of Gerstenmaier?
Place NASA on hold please15 Dec 2005 12:52 GMT1
All money allocated to NASA should be reallocated by Presidential edict to
replenish the New Orleans victim recovery effort.  Late reports are all
existing funds have been exhausted and the corpses will remain insitu to
decompose without the benefit of burial.  What a dispicable way ...

Looked at Space.com's coverage of DreamChaser as
<http://www.space.com/missionlaunches/051123_spacedev_dreamchaser.html>
It looks sweet, but what's the perfomance of the hybrids, how does
side-mount affect the stack (no ice, though...), what's their TPS, and
