Just wondering, It would seem like a priority. Are video camera's going to examine the tiles from the shuttles robotic arm? And if so, will the video be telivised? Thanks for the info, I just don't want to miss anything.

My daughter is visiting family in Hilton Head, SC. Will she be able to observe the launch of STS-114 from there? I can't find any site that predicts the locations that would be able to observe the launch. TIA, Cary

Was at work for the launch, missed it! Missed the coms as it came over the UK as I was away from my scanner... BUGGER! Is there anywhere that has HD footage of the launch to DL? Did that sensor hold up? What's this about debris hitting the tail during

Besides the chunk others have mentioned under the starboard wing, I noticed a large piece that seemed to fly off the port wing shortly after separation. Anyone know what that might have been?

On local TV they're advising a Cessna went into restricted airspace, military jets forced him to land and apparently he attempted to conceal his plane upon landing. Curious to see what develops.

Is http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/shuttle/index.html still the page for accurate information about STS-114? I am asking because in the left column, "launch" still shows as "TBD" (To be decided?).
