Now that the European Space Agency will be buying Soyuz rockets, do any of you eggheads in here think might start developing a manned space program in the next couple decades? It would be a nice feather in the cap for the EU (And yes I know the two aren't officially connected).

Of course the 1st time we went we used 'big ol honkin Roman Candle' technology, but the Shuttle was supposed to be the pickup truck reusable type thing, even though it hasn't always lived up to the hype. I'm thinking there are two different parts of this;
