Atlas 2AS Launch tonight from Cape Canaveral AFS 20 May 2004 03:46 GMT2
    At 5:14pm EDT (2114z) Range Control announced on 157.1 that the Atlas 2AS
will launch in about 40 minutes.  The window is from 5:52pm to 8:46pm though.
    At 5:24pm, Cape Control announded a launch time of 2222z. But it is common
for "holds" to delay the count.

O'Keefe said NASA engineers are vetting several suggestions for a robotic
mission to replace the gyroscopes and batteries aboard the scientific
instrument. The mission would allow the Hubble to continue scanning the
universe beyond 2006 or 2007.

Interesting tidbit this morning regarding the newest crop of ascans:
"UPI also learned the original class of candidates consisted of 12, but
