A God given fact in Science is that nothing can travel faster than light.
What if the fact is wrong?
If a civilization has figured out how to travel faster than light then they
have also figured out how to communicate back to their home world at faster

While I attended church the Sunday before last I was offered a frontal
lobotomy as treatment for believing in life outside the earth (mars in
particular) and that Jesus was ET.

We entered the solar system in about 1917 on a hyperbolic orbit attracted by
the thunderstorms of Jupiter. We are on a voyage of exploration looking for
