I've just started running boinc and I've noticed my cpu temp hovers around
70-72C. Is this ok?
Its a 3.2GHz P4 with HT.

Simply stated; Venus is not insurmountably hot, and furthermore,
because it's surface and whatever else that's situated below an

have not installed it.  I am waiting for the EMail giving me my new account

I just received the e-mail in regards to the Dec 15 shutdown of Seti Classic.
So its (almost) cast in concrete. Subject to a bit of slippage.

   I've decided to quit SETI after 6 years of using SETI Classic, running
on Windows.
   I tried to join the BOINC system but no longer have the password to

can someone tell me the differences between the classic seti@home project
and the new boinc based project in terms of scientific value (not computer
technology used)? unfortunately i could not find anything about that on the
