Hello29 Sep 2005 19:04 GMT5
Looking for SETI?  We're here already!
We've been here since 1930, we even went on a Zeppelin, our slighly
different appearance didn't show....
And we are going soon.
What's with the avg credits?29 Sep 2005 11:22 GMT5
I know that credits are dependant upon return of the same
wu's from other participants, but I've watched my own avg
drop from 200+ to 135. To me, that seems to be an excessive
variation.
Seti using all my CPU27 Sep 2005 08:30 GMT4

[BOINC] Optimised SETI client for Turion 64? 27 Sep 2005 03:25 GMT2
Using the client for SSE2 and Athlon 64 I complete the reference WU in
118.62 min. (1.6 Ghz Turion64 with SSE3). Using a client optimised for
SSE3 and Athlon/Turion 64 should be faster, right?
[BRAG] Never thought I'd make it26 Sep 2005 15:11 GMT2
When I hit 20,000 this spring I expected that to be my last
'significant figure', thinking the original S@h programme would be
ending before I'd qualify for any milestone certificate past the one
for 10,000 I got a couple of years ago. But I was wrong:

My Over-commitment solution (detach from climate prediction) 25 Sep 2005 05:54 GMT1
Recently while Seti was having their server problems I was running Einstein
100%. I decided that this was a good thing so I re-attached my Boinc manager to
LHC and ClimatePrediction so I could always have work going, unless all 4 were
down! A few days later as my various completed ...
A bit off topic24 Sep 2005 13:20 GMT1
I got a 3GHz machine on line. It boots with a separate fan for the CPU that can keep you awake at
night but shuts off quickly. Originally I was concerned that S@H would be the kind of thing that
would keep the chip hot and the fan running but no such thing. I doubt the MMX ...

changing e-mail address22 Sep 2005 10:52 GMT2
I'm running Seti At Home v3.08. The e-mail address I use to log into Seti At
Home will soon no longer be valid. Is there some way I can change my account
settings to use my new e-mail address without losing my accumulated stats?
Thanks much.

seti@home classic for mac19 Sep 2005 14:48 GMT5
Been a long time classic seti@home cruncher.  I`ve been experimenting with a
Mac G4 and would like to run classic on it also.  Could someone upload the
Mac version?  I`d appreciate it.
