Can I install a command line version of the old Seti as a service ... on a new machine ... if I happen to have the .exe kicking around? I missed the whole transition, or whatever it was, to BOINC. Thanks,

It looks like SETI Classic is coming to an end. I've been running it on a Tru64 UNIX system, V5.1B PK4. I checked the SETI/BOINC site and downloaded the source to try to compile. The compile of BOINC fails with the messages:

It's too bad that all of club SETI is actually certified as legally as blind as are all the ETs they have supposedly been attempting to discover for the past several decades, as otherwise any number of other ETs still having sight could have been living right next to us. Perhaps
