Computer technology marches on, and soon the productive life of classic SETI@Home will end. By the time that happens, I probably will have switched over to BOINC. But does the classic version have to vanish completely?

I just sent in 2 work units[if thats what they are called under Boinc/Seti] at 4:23:26 GMT and got credit at 4:23:57 GMT.Now that is fast. I know it takes 14-18 hours for my computer to finish a job.So I assume I may be holding up others who have faster times to get

Well i have been putting more than 8000 hours of computation in Classic seti, and had the understanding that this "credit" would show up in Seti/Boinc as well. but i havent seen anything yet after almost 1 months of working ?!?
