How can i see progress in boinc, will it tell me a number of workunits or
time ?!?
What is the "catch" with boinc is it faster or what ?!?

All my SETi work units have been from Arecibo - wasn't there a plan at some

Managed to u/l and d/l results and WUs OK. Brought caches back to 2 days
with a little patience. Have taken advantage of the better WU service to
increase caches to 5 days.

I'vew been running Seti at home for a while now and have over 10,000
work units. I honestly haven't been paying much attention to it all as
I don't have a lot of time; I  figured if something big happens I'll
find out.

Does BOINC give you the chance to decline program changes/upgrades or does
it shove them on you like a Microsoft automatic upgrade without asking or
giving you a chance to refuse?

1st off I'm wondering if I am only one getting this error message. The
faq on this error from the seti site says that I would get this message
if my ISP uses a transparent proxy. I contacted them and was told that
they did not use any kind of proxy. Also is there any way to d/l more
