Not sure what did it but I had 2 copies of guardDog.exe running in task
manager....one was smaller than the other so killed the small one ;)  and I
added the / to the url addy and looks like it is working:

I have loaded the program 5 times....yes I also removed it and all it's
programs manually. I click atch Project and get the following error:
boinc_gui
BOINC couldn't get the main page for http://setiathome.berkeley.edu

Sorry but somewhat new to this thing. Anyway, I have this unit of work " is
only 19 boinc points " but it has been sitting on the server to be validated
way past the date due.

Started running it yesterday.  Where on the website is it simply stated
which data is being analyzed currently (by me for example), how much has
been done and how much is left?  All the "news" seems like eight years old.
Or is it all purposely vague because at this point they're ...

im a setiathome user running it on xp continuosly, but i keep hearing
references to this BOINC thing...what is it, is it an addon to setiathome on
the berkley site?  or something completely different?
im not an advanced user, so KISS please.

Here at the BBC we must have thousands of desktop computers, and hence
thousands of screensavers, but I've only seen a few copies of
Seti@Home: most people have the standard BBC screensaver.
Wouldn't it be cool if beneath the surface of a standard corp

project call Astropulse that started in 2004.
Has someone any infromation about it ?

Beware for trojans. I think that SETI@BOINCWatch is a trojan! The link can
be found at http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/download_network.php, but you
should not download the software. Well, I did and the Microsoft
Antispyware -program found NetSlayer (RAT) -trojan after that.
