How the heck do you sign up for Seti@Home?!?!? I downloaded the app, tried installing it (Win2k3 Server), and it bombed, so I try to post a message to the Seti@Home message boards, but there's no place to SIGN UP SO YOU CAN POST A MESSAGE!?!?!? WTF?? Do I have to pay to join

I've got BOINC running and the only project I've installed is seti. I estimate I've done about 20 work units or so. On the "Projects" tab there are headings "Total Credit" and "Avg. Credit". These are both exactly zero. Huh? Am I misunderstanding?
