Stupid error20 Jul 2004 10:56 GMT1
WHY, when you left-click on the line
under 'projects', then 'web site',
does it open to the REGULAR SETI page,
instead of a BOINC page??
Seth Shostak is wrong20 Jul 2004 09:37 GMT4
An article written by Seth Shostak describes the idea of
sending laser signal to planets which pass in front of
their star:

Fatal error20 Jul 2004 04:48 GMT10
I'm hoping that this is the server being down.  I have decided that I don't
like BOINC thing.  But to reply, yes, mine is doing that also, and has been
for two days now.

SETI log-in20 Jul 2004 04:28 GMT3
Can anybody help.
I have had to re-install S@H since I had some seti file corruptions for some
reason.
I downloaded the program again and installed it with no problem.
Estimated time to completion is even worse on 3.2020 Jul 2004 04:23 GMT4
Just updated SETI/BOINC to 3.20.  If there's anything different
about it, the time to completion estimation is much worse (which is
saying something given how bad it was with 3.19).
Seti working again20 Jul 2004 01:08 GMT3

different problem19 Jul 2004 23:50 GMT1
In addition to "fatal error #1", I have had SETI so long I
don't remember the e-mail  address I used to set it up with. How can I
get it changed without being able to log in. Anyone have an address I
can get the webmaster with? I don't see one on the website.
Help - Unknown Fatal Error : 1 - Seti@home Wont run.19 Jul 2004 23:20 GMT20
I've started to get the following error message and the seti program
wont run.
Unknown Fatal Error : 1
The program then quits and the systray icon disappears.
Fatal error19 Jul 2004 21:25 GMT1
I had a crash due to a problem with the 'state.sah' file, then 'unknown
fatal error 1.' I reinstalled a few times, and eventually seti@home ran
until I tried to login, when I got the fatal error again. Help!
BOINC Seti crashes on upload19 Jul 2004 18:45 GMT3
I have just finished my first BOINC Seti WU, however the client isn't
able to upload it, it always crashes. I tried updating my Boinc from
3.19 to 3.20, but that doesn't help, because it seems to be the seti
executable that crashes.
SETI @ home not able to return results :(19 Jul 2004 18:01 GMT10
I run Seti driver & spy and neither of them can return my results :(

Stats for web site - like seti used to do19 Jul 2004 16:29 GMT7
Is anyone aware of something you can put on your website that will display
your latest stats?  I know you could get them for seti, but what about
BOINC?  :-)
Berkeley19 Jul 2004 08:17 GMT1
I seem to be able to d/l WU OK, but not send the results.
I am using this opportunity to raise my cache levels, save the WU
results until tomorrow. However, I should have a few days of Classic
crunching.
