Is there any intrinsic problem running SetiStash 2.1 on WinXP Home? I have never got it to run properly. Task Manager shows it running but consuming 0% of the CPU. If I double click on the SetiStash.exe, something opens and immediately

Has anyone else noted this? My count of units is ok, and going up as it should. BUT for the last few days (in the AM) my position is getting reset to the same as I had the day before. At about 20 units a day there is no way this

I have been running SETI@home for a few years now and only since I installed Windows XP Pro have I been able to see the amount of process time the application receives. It's only 50% and the other 50% is "System Idle Processes."

If we could in theory actually contact et's, wouldn't it make sense that their planet is orbiting a star and emitting "pink-noise" radio signals, much like earth does as it orbits the sun? Hmmm... allow me to elaborate.
