I was wondering if anyone could help me with a project I have to do for my astronomy class at Cornell. We are given the time of sunset (5:37 pm) on September 21 and must figure out the exact latitude and longitude of the location. Does anyone know how to do this

The Atacama is the driest desert on Earth. Previous studies were able to find microbes in the wetter portions on the desert. However samples taken from the drier central region showed no detectable microbes. This had be taken to explain the Viking "no life" results:
