Any determination of what Titan's dark areas are yet?31 Oct 2004 03:25 GMT5

-> show if the dark areas are flat or not.  If not
-> flat, then it cannot be liquid.  But not all flat
-> areas are liquid.  Maybe it's a big parking lot...
A question about heat, rephrased.30 Oct 2004 21:21 GMT4

The Edge of Inifinity26 Oct 2004 08:26 GMT2
There is a little known phenomenon about motion in deep space, which stars
and planets have been moving according to since time began.
It is a motion that science never even tried to explain, let alone observe.
And it is a motion that could get us as far as the nearest star...in ...
Is this idea stupid, unoriginal or both?25 Oct 2004 21:32 GMT20
I am not a regular visitor to this group so I hope you dont mind me
crashing in and asking this question but I cannot think of another forum
that is likely to give me an authoritative answer. For a piece of fiction, I
am developing an idea for an interplanetary (paternoster) ...
An ignorant question23 Oct 2004 21:04 GMT5
I've been following all the discoveries of the extrasolar planets with
great interest, particularly the recent Neptune-sized discoveries.
However, most of the new discoveries seem to have orbital periods measured
in days, meaning they must be moving extremely fast and very close to ...

Regarding the five solid spheres; Mars, Venus, Mercury, Earth and its
Moon -- what is currently known about the early periods of cooling and

all of these globes? Additionally, how much condensation and freezing
