I recently posted a comment on the colonization of Venus in our own
time.  Basically, at an altitude of 55 km above the Venusian surface,
you have a largely carbon-dioxide atmosphere at Earth normal pressure,
and temperature.  Since an oxygen nitrogen atmosphere at this pressure

My google-fu is apparently quite weak.
I've been unable to turn up a reputable estimate for the bulk price
(in "industrial quantities", FOB the production plant) of these
chemicals.
Space Travel will save the world09 Jul 2008 06:15 GMT44

The Past -ending warfare as we knew it.

between the probe and ring material would be almost zero if the probe is
in-plane near circular.

This discusses the ESTABLISHED abundance of platinum in carbanaceous
clonrites. They talk about "closer than the Moon". If you add that the
Moon has a gravitational well they are quite a lot closer.
Falcon 1 delay puzzles me02 Jul 2008 20:18 GMT28
OK, so the Falcon 1 launch from Kwajalein with the Jumpstart mission
and other payloads has been set back because the range has informed
SpaceX its assets are needed for other launches. Elon Musk says,
"Launch is no sooner than late July to early August,"
