Wireless in Space28 Jul 2003 19:06 GMT3
I see from a recent announcement (on sci.space.news) that TransOrbital

Earth <--> Moon comms28 Jul 2003 13:01 GMT8
I was just thinking the other day that if there was a Moon Base and
this Moon Base had several telescopes systems on it, needing Earth
control and data feedback I should add, then what is the best way to

Is Steve Bennett Getting Serious?27 Jul 2003 16:57 GMT2
Starchaser once seemed to be something of a gimmick to sell merchendise and

USAF announced the decission to transfer 7 Delta-IV launches of the EELV Buy
1 to Atlas-V. Additionally 3 Vandenberg launches of EELV Buy 2 will be
granted to Atlas-V.
So it is now 14 Atlas-V vs. 12 Delta-IV for the Buy procurement.
Seriously OT: "Freedom Fries" vs. "Courriel"25 Jul 2003 13:41 GMT20

backwards and that without a specific plan to put all cargo on a) ELV's or
b) a new shuttle derived cargo vehicle will put the safety of Shuttle pilots
even more at risk (NASA engineers are already complaining ...
Heard too much and need to vent.23 Jul 2003 16:47 GMT2
Now I have been following NASA's odd ideas on space policy for a few
years now, where if you can forgive my desire I just need to make
myself heard.
These days of course it is all about the Shuttle and how this is a
