In the new Apollo 14 LRO photo, there two trails left by the astronauts, a dark one to the left (to the ALSEP) and a longer, lighter one to the right. This is the mission where they pulled the buggy.

In all these discussions about returning men to the Moon, and someday Mars, there seems to be a wide assumption than humans are better for exploring than robotic spacecraft. It's an erroneous assumption. For so many glaring reasons.
