planetary heat losses15 Aug 2007 21:55 GMT20
All the outer planets radiate much more heat than they receive in
energy from the sun. All that is except Uranus which radiates
negligable energy not received from the sun. Theories try to explain

Shuttle tile felt question15 Aug 2007 20:24 GMT2

Space /space history outreach in schools13 Aug 2007 22:23 GMT2

Sorry that I missed a chance to watch it . . . I know . . . I
know . . . its (just) another Delta, but I will never tire of watching
launchs.  If I were still living in Florida, I think I would be
watching each one by stepping outside . . . even if they were
Re: Space/space history outreach in schools13 Aug 2007 03:42 GMT2

awareness - and there is no charge to the school.  Last year I did ~130
of these chemistry demos that were free of charge.  Most of the schools
said thank you and asked if I would come back, some gave me a mug from ...

What If No Titan?12 Aug 2007 19:07 GMT16
Suppose that the Titan I ICBM had never been developed. It was, after

Titan I, presumably there would have been no Titan II or III. What
impact would this have had on the development of launch vehicles?

Richard Hoagland was on a few nights ago.
I had never heard this theory before.
He said he's talked to some of the moon walkers, specifically Buzz
