    I finally found a source for the pages I was missing from the
NASA History website version of the Cortright Report (for the Apollo 13
accident).  This weekend, I cleaned them up and put them all in with the
rest.  I decided to make each Appendix into its own (though large) file,

Was any consideration ever given in the early 60s to reaching the moon
with a rendezvous at the Earth-Moon L1 (or L2) point?  References?

I mentioned something along these lines about a year back. The idea
would be to control the inputs so that wherever the astronaut's torso
was pointing became their "down", or alternately, a certain direction in
the spacecraft would be the same thing:

I believe it's crucial that the new roadmap to the moon be trumpeted
not as a "redo" of Apollo (or 'Apollo on steroids') but rather simply
