I got a entertaining idea for modern cell phone users that are space buffs. Perhaps an enterpreneur could carry it further. Instead of the wirelesss "bluetooth" headsets, etc. would it not be cool to have a replica "snoopy" communications headset with two mikes

Did anybody capture good views of the 'ring of fire' effect (with apologies to Eric Flint) just prior to MECO? Since the ring collapsed at MECO I'm presuming it was the shock wave of the engine plume and the upper atmosphere. Even though shot backwards at 3000 meters/sec,

You really want to see something, get imagery of the ET separation and the green ionization glow around the orbiter as it separates. It's like its sheathed in a aurora borealis! Pat
