According to the local NYC channel 7 (ABC) news, North Korea set off
their nuke test at about 9:30 PM east coast USA time Sunday night.  Or
about 01:30 Greenwich mean time Monday morning.  Seismic measurements
around the planet should give an estimate of the yield.

Maybe it's because I don't understand the dynamics of newsgroups ( a

Suppose NASA had balked at building a launch vehicle as large as the
Saturn V and insisted on going to the moon with smaller vehicles, as
was discussed.  What would have been likely outcomes if, say, it had
been decided to launch each Apollo mission with two smaller vehicles?
