I personally favor SLA panels as the culprits,

Shades of the Soviet group flights! U. S. Space News says that NASA is
considering a twin CEV lunar loop mission as a prelude to the manned

PING! Rusty - looking for a specific PDF for Aurora 703 Jan 2006 20:06 GMT52
...Rustoleum, I've got a task for you: can you see if you can find any
PDFs detailing the telemetry readings from Aurora 7? Specifically,
what I'm looking for is anything that might show a graph of O2 levels
during the flight as compared to any other atmospheric readings.

Than New NASA Shuttle03 Jan 2006 19:03 GMT17
Question:  When N.A.S.A. scraps the old space shuttle and starts work on
their next generation orbiter or whatever you call it, how are they going to
shoot it up into space?  Will they place in ontop of a big rocket like they
used to?  Or will they do it like now with those ...

Interesting factoid on Wikipedia's entry for "Silly Putty"02 Jan 2006 16:56 GMT3
...While doing the Wikilink for OMBlog today, I came across a rather
intersting factoid in the Wiki entry for "Silly Putty". Apparently it
was used on the Apollo 8 mission. The question, natch, is whether this
is true, and what the hell did they use it for?

I managed to drive by NASA's Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, on the
way back from Florida last week. Unfortunately, their visitor's
center remains closed due to the effects of Hurricane Kartrina. All
they had was a fairly high resolution LM replica display at the rest

Best Book on Space Race/Cold War/Missles? 01 Jan 2006 23:58 GMT15
What's the best book out there about the space race and such?  I would
like to read something that focuses on NASA, rockets, and getting to the
moon.  Or better yet, all that and nuclear bombs too.
   Thanks!
