Australia's Brainiest Kid06 Oct 2005 01:17 GMT11
In Australia we are continually bombarded with the misinformation that

I'd like to call the group's attention to an interesting set (for certain,

"So you want to return to Earth? Well, how much do you want to return to
Earth?  Make us an offer.
Let us hope your friends in NASA see things our way, Comrade
McArthur....or maybe you shall not return, if you know what we mean..."
How to spend a day at KSC?04 Oct 2005 23:03 GMT18
<DELURK>
On an upcoming work trip to Orlando, it appears that I will have
commitments on Sunday evening and then Tuesday, with a "dead" day in
between.  As a modest space history fan (who has appreciated book
LUT cranes04 Oct 2005 10:51 GMT4
I've never seen any clear images of the LUT cranes in use, nor found any
specific info in Moonport. Were they used in routine stacking ops in some
way?
CEV is truly the Flight of the Phoenix04 Oct 2005 07:11 GMT6
Cobble together a new flying machine out of parts of an old one. Sound familiar? The CEV is truly the Flight of the Phoenix.
Why not Skylab Redux?03 Oct 2005 17:04 GMT20
I was thinking about NASA's Moon plan, and it occurs to me the heavy
lifter's
SRBs and first stage should be powerful enough to orbit a deaprture stage
that doesn't have any fuel in it, so it could be oribtted as a dry workshop,
Buzz in Australia?03 Oct 2005 06:44 GMT7
I notice on the news tonight that Buzz Aldrin is in Australia, visiting the
flight of a replica wright aircraft. Anyone know if he's got any other
events on the schedule downunder? Thanks,
David
