Need Help Finding Apllo 11 movie24 Oct 2005 21:48 GMT3
I'm looking for a made-for-tv movie, "Apollo 11," 1996,  approx. 93min
running time, directed by Norberto Barba, aired on The Family Channel Nov
17th 1996, re-aired several times up to jul 20 1997.
I believe MTM Enterprises, Inc. [Mary Tyler Moore] had the rights to the
timeline of Navy Comm birds24 Oct 2005 20:38 GMT22
Sen. Byrd's book: "Robert C. Byrd: Child of the Appalachian Coalfields."
talks about Sugar Grove, the National Radio Quiet Zone, and the plan
to use moonbounce for communications to Navy ships.
{There's background at <http://coldwar-c4i.net/Sugar_Grove/history.html> ..}
Telescopes and telephoto lens for moon obseravtion24 Oct 2005 18:52 GMT2
What are the best telescopes for home use?
I hae my eye on an inexpesnive telescope.  I think it might be nice to
use on a boardwalk as the moon rises.  I might be able to generate a
small tip income by allowing tourists to have a look at the moon.

SEI Quicksat booster23 Oct 2005 15:27 GMT3
This is a really interesting design for a two-stage-to-orbit reusable
light satellite booster/transatmospheric hypersonic attack aircraft.
At only 123 feet in length and capable of reaching Mach 9-10, the
flyback booster packs a lot of performance into a small vehicle.
NASA PDF documents available online for free download23 Oct 2005 14:52 GMT18
NASA PDF documents from the NASA NTRS server. Some just added to the
server, some have been there a while. All are interesting.
Caution, some of these PDF files are many megabytes in size.

Skylab's Size23 Oct 2005 01:08 GMT6
Sincde the board's rather slow right now, I thought I'd ask something
I've been wondering about- at what point did ISS surpass Skylab as the
largest space station? Either in tonnage or habitable space? Did Mir
ever beat Skylab in either?

Dan Millar's Death Programmed by God (Jologicon) - Dan was one of the 6 NEW GODS Jologicon Needed to Select22 Oct 2005 00:31 GMT289
Unfortunately, Dan's accidental death was already programmed By God.
Everything is programmed in God's Master Plan. I, Jologicon, ordered my
Angels to take Dan's Soul. I'm not kidding. Dan died because Jologicon
(God) needed his soul for a noble cause.
