The Apollo Experience Reports are a series of reports issued by NASA
that cover hardware and procedures used in the Apollo Program. They
were issued from 1972 through 1976.
Currently there are 114 titles in the series listed on the NASA NTRS

On this date in history NASA pulled off its greatest hoax.  On July 20,
1969 Apollo 11 "landed" on the moon.

The Cape has lost another piece of history. I just returned from Cocoa
Beach after trying to see the RTF. one of the places recommended from
the group was the Moon Hut in Cape Canaveral. Well, I am here to report
that it is in the process of being converted to a Mexican Restuarant.

Wow. Finally had the opportunity to visit the new Space Center Houston, and
the Johnson Space Center itself again, after 34 years. They've done a big

I don't know if anyone on this group has seen any of the Discovery
Canada aired 12 part documentary series on the history of the Space
Age entitled " Rocket Science ", but if you have not, you've missed
a treat.

It just occurred to me that "Skylab" is a pretty out of character name for
the time.
No mythology, no TLAs. nothing inspirationally adjectival, not named after a
ship.
