Is there a space program veterans organization?23 Apr 2005 22:00 GMT5
I was a NASA employee at KSC during the Gemini and Apollo programs.  Is
there any kind of alumni organization?
I worked at the Central Instrumentation Facility in Karl Sendler's
organization doing telemetry.
Big ISS cuts23 Apr 2005 21:13 GMT3
From SpaceRef.com, via NASA Watch:
http://www.spaceref.com/news/viewsr.html?pid=16280
This reads like the first step in abandoning the ISS program; a lot of
the science mission (small that it is at the moment) is apparently
$110 Million to Retire?  23 Apr 2005 00:45 GMT33
Don't you wish you could be paid $110 million to retire like NASA's DART
Mission?  And if successful it was only supposed to last twenty-four hours

MA-1 remains question22 Apr 2005 05:23 GMT3
In "This New Ocean," the remains of MA-1 were described as being "small
portions of the capsule, the adapter-ring, and the booster."
Where are these remains now? The Garber facility? Is it possible to see
them?

text available on the following page, although it looks like things might have
to be reorganized (or organized) there.
APR Extra: Moderately gigantic drawing of Sea Dragon22 Apr 2005 00:50 GMT119
I've posted a very large (6750X2525 pixels) drawing of the Sea Dragon
HLLV on my site. This vehicle was to be bigger in diameter than some
launch vehicles are *long*.

HELP Re: Apollo One21 Apr 2005 23:43 GMT124
My other message hasn't posted yet; will someone PLEASE put me out of
my misery?  In continuing to search for Scott's allegation re:
Schirra, I am reading more infantile nonsense than I can bear;
unfortunately, some (OK, a lot) of it comes from Scott.

Silverstein on Pioneer 5 stating that the spacecraft would transmit data
for "several tens of years". Anybody in the group knows the original
