Were "you" a part of the Columbia Shuttle Recovery effort?24 Feb 2005 18:18 GMT30
I was part of the Columbia Recovery effort. It was an emotional
rollercoaster filled with highs and lows as our Oregon fire crew
stumbled upon each other and memorable bits of the shuttle....
We were stationed in Palestine Tx. Anybody out there relate to this

A few years back I read in one of Carl Sagan's books a comment about
the the shift in feeling towards slavery.  In 1800 nearly all civilized
people thought nothing of owning slaves.  By 1900 nearly all civilized
people were apalled at the thought of slavery.  What happened?  The

I've developed a really severe infection in my lower right leg, so if

Finding the news on the 'Net tonight, and between Paramount, on their
site, and several major papers, all reporting that Enterprise is
cancelled, and will end it's run of new episodes in May.
