I had posted awhile back looking for a laptop and hard drive that could
work at 30,000ft.  I found a suitable hard drive at
www.mt-optech.com.....just wanted to post in case anyone else ever ran
into the same problem.  There might also be an issue with the LCD

Presumably sci.space.tech is not exclusively about propulsion.
Has there been much study about what kind of weaponry a manned spacecraft
might carry with near-current technology?  There are a number of things
that would work in vacuum that wouldn't work in air.

I'm trying to add a direct comparison of nuclear-thermal vs. chemical
engines to the article on the wikipedia. I'm hampered by a lack of even
simple data.
