What you see is what you get. I relate the universe to any large round object. Easy to relate it to our Earth. Think of all the ways we see the Earth. Standing on it its "flat" Seen from the Moon it is a round blue ball. bert

Since we have the technology and various telescopic pictures of many galactic areas, it would be great to have simulated, but accurate, views from other galaxies' planets. What would a telescopic view from a planet (or any place) in the top of the upper arm of the right interacting ...

An asteroid is heading for a possible near earth pass. Does the mass of the asteroid affect it's trajectory, with respect to gravity from local bodies? I've told some friends that the answer is no, but they are skeptible.

Just read a Hawking book that describes 'branes'. These, as I understand it, are parallel universes that are existing in another dimension that we are not aware of. He suggests that these are very close to us - just mm away. Can anybody explain to me how this works
