These groups are bad.  Bad people made these groups bad.  People insult

Is there a fine line between a planet and a star?31 Aug 2006 21:53 GMT4
IE: Is it possible to have an on/off star? ...Or does the mass have to
surpass the necessary requirements, such that once fusion commences, it
would be guaranteed to be ongoing.  ...And 2): would the critical mass
ensure that the ignition would initially commence with the very ...

This needs a much better theory how gravity was able to compress it to
make the very first stars.      Think about it     Bert
Newbie question - Possibly OT31 Aug 2006 16:50 GMT9
Guys
During the summer evenings I've been interested in attempting to photograph
the stars.  Even when I set the f-stop to 2.8 and use an 8 second exposure I
still get a VERY black image.  I then have to enhance the image to view the

When a star become a dwarf31 Aug 2006 10:42 GMT3
I was wondering.
What does a planet become when the star that is nearby (i.e Sun for the
Earth) is becoming a white dwarf?
Can a planet still be here or is the amount of energy displayed by the

How to escape from "tonights best"30 Aug 2006 15:08 GMT3
I have a problem with my LX200GPS.
On the autostar II, I can't escape from the tour "tonights best"
(haven't tried the other tours yet). Whenever I press MODE, the tour
just restarts. Any Ideas?
Back in time?30 Aug 2006 09:25 GMT4
How do we know that looking far away billions of light years is looking
back in time. Maybe what we are looking at happened after we did. Then
wouldn't we be looking ahead in time? We always assume that everything
far away happened way long ago.

There are STILL 9 Planets!30 Aug 2006 05:06 GMT3
So some arbitrary group of busy-body intellectuals with wayyyyyyyyy too
much time on their hands has decided that Pluto is no longer a planet.
Why did anyone think that a definitive planetary definition had to be
resolved?
