I don't normally use the newsgroups. Do you know if there is a
uk.sci.astronomy group on yahoo? I suppose I could look, but I thought a few
others might be interested as well.

Congrats to Surrey Uni@Guildford Mission Control!  Ok - a bit keen bu
no luck as yet via Heavens-Above.com or Surrey Uni but not sure o

I have recentley been bought Starry Night Pro 4.5 and I am considering
getting a laptop so I can gaze whilst outside!
Is anyone using this program on a laptop and if so what type of specs for
the laptop do you recommend?

Well we think of time as something that is linear. One end of its
spectrum goes back to the moment of the big bang,and then up to "now"
and on to the distance future. How could we ever view time different
than that?  Then I remember Greek thoughts on this. In their

Seeing was very poor for this. The planet was boiling violently,
probably due to a neighbour's bungalow. Why do they have to turn the
heating on in cold weather - I ask you!! ;-)

Had a wonderful night on 28th, really clear and dark and cold here on the
South Coast. After weeks of imaging Mars, I got back to some deep sky
imaging and couldn't resist two old favourites since they were passing the
meridian.
