Ive seen several documentaries (and photographs) that show a picture of
the milky way galaxy with an arrow to the part of the spiral where our
solar system is in.
My question is, if Voyager 1&2 have barely ventured outside of Pluto,

How come RGB CCDs are more common than WCMY CCDs?  Looking over their
descriptions on the web, I would have thought WCMY CCDs would have made
RGB obsolete, not only for astronomy, but for consumer digital cameras
