I'm sick of the game.14 Aug 2005 07:01 GMT66

Perseid Meteor Shower13 Aug 2005 21:23 GMT1
Well, just on a long shot, I got up about 4am, and again about 5:45am, and
went outside to try to see any stragglers in the Perseid meteor shower.
Of course, visibility was something like being inside half a ping-pong ball.
The only thing really visible was the unblinking red eye ...
Gravity Waves Faster-Than-Light Speed?13 Aug 2005 20:18 GMT3
Abstract
Standard experimental techniques exist to determine the propagation
speed of forces. When we apply these techniques to gravity, they all
yield propagation speeds too great to measure, substantially faster than

Cost of Making Discovery Safer???13 Aug 2005 16:01 GMT23

Griffin said on tv that nothing had been done to make it safer. They did
put TV cameras showing us that styrofoam  tiles and other stuffstill
came off or got loose. This begs the question  What was this 1.48

Relativity question:13 Aug 2005 07:12 GMT3
Hypothetically if a person travels at just under the speed of light in a
space ship to a star 10 light years away
does it seem to take the full 10 years to get there for the person doing the
traveling?

Whilst my first book ("First Ark to Alpha Centauri") is going through
