This thing passed closer than halfway to the moon on March 19th. How come I didn't hear anything on the media on this close encounter? Is this a predictable orbit or did they find out about it after it passed?

Does angular separation of stars correspond with the FOV of binoculars? Orions belt spans 2 degrees and 44 mins, but just fits into the FOV of my binoculars which are rated at 3.5 degrees. This info would be useful in helping me to decide which of the bins I shall

You know by imaging the depth-scale (thickness of a layer to make the background invisible, i.e. of km). Then, you can estimate the optical depth (depending on droplet sizes and number densities), then you have the droplets number densities and an estimate of the amount of water
