Getting really fed up with all this night cloud and no stars, in the
Midlands anyway. So I have just passed a few hours projecting that bright
thing in the sky on to A4 paper. Just basic schoolboy physics, and very

Well a few weeks ago Double-A asked me how old my wife was?. I felt that
was her mystery(secret) Girls don't give out their real age. What does
this have to do with astronomy?    Well the universe hides her age very
well. Telling the universes age has to go with how much it expanded

First clear evening for weeks.  Configured for f6.3, did my darks/bias for the
guider and off we go.  Located the first NGC but ..... no images because the
cloud and mist came up.

I have been imaging 9P/Temple 1 which is brightening but the other
night it was very close to a bright star so I elected to image it's
nearest neighbor comet, 62P/Tsuchinshan 1.
62P has a relative motion of 0.5 arc seconds per minute. With my
