Anyone have this refractor?  How does it compare to other fine 4" apo's?
Does it have a collimatable lens cell?

ETX 125EC Dec problem?14 Feb 2005 06:42 GMT2
Hi, I recently took delivery of a new Meade ETX 125 with the #497
controller. Going through the process of training the telescope
setting for the alt (DEC)  motor, it seems to skip as compared to the
RA motor which is smooth at all speeds.

Of course I understand the data Cahill is alleging. But neither you nor
Cahill understand the real meaning of that data!

which sides are the perihelion and aphelion?12 Feb 2005 21:59 GMT6
I know we always draw diagrams looking down from the north pole, e.g.
so the earth spins anti clockwise. But is there a standard such that
for example, the perhelion point on the eclipse (where earth is
nearest) is on the right? or left?  are there names for these
