I've realized a mosaïc of an almost full moon (only 6 hours before). Low turbulence and good seeing for snapshot. 65 individual frames, taken with a Toucam Pro at the focus of a C8. Processing by Registax, final assembly with Photoshop.

Since I got my 10" LX200, I've not really felt at one with it. My major gripe was with the focusser which was one of the most awful focussers I've ever come across and extremely difficult to use. I had no tactile connection with it whatsoever.

How does it feel to realise that English cataloguers can't figure out what the basic rotation rate of the Earth through 360 degrees is !,fault me for profanity but considering the utter stupidity in not correcting a mistake it is the least I can do.

I have accidently knocked the mirror of my newtonian reflector telescope out of alignment. Is there any easy way to get it back in alignment? At the moment I cannot focus in on anything with any fine detail. Cheers
