Just got December 2003 Astronomy magazine and looked at the reader gallery

Orion optics' planetary reflecters.30 Nov 2003 02:54 GMT3
At last, orion optics have brought out new reflectors with longer focal
length tubes. Ideal for those of us who enjoy the moon and planets.
Now they are manufucturing 6inch F/11, an 8inch F/8, a 10inch f/6.3, etc in
their Europa, GX and DX range of newtonians.
EQM Backlash29 Nov 2003 23:39 GMT1
Friend of mine has a meade Starfinder 8 inch with EQM. When he goes to sight
in an object there is a certain amount of backlash which he has to
compensate for by putting the image on the other side of the field of view.
Can this be corrected somehow?
